Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll probably know that Smoothies have pretty much taken over the world – and we’re not surprised!
They are hands down the easiest thing to make. They also fill you up and are extremely healthy and delicious – they simply have it all.
I personally love making them when I’m in a rush or when I haven’t been eating as healthy as I should have – they’re great if you’re struggling to incorporate your 5 a day in your diet.
When making a smoothie, you can pretty much use any fruit or vegetable you want (I’m quite positive they all taste delicious anyways!)
However, if you need a little bit of inspiration, here’s my top three smoothie recipes.
- Purple SmoothieThis might just be my favourite one and you need to try it!
All you need is:1 frozen banana
1/2 a pack of blueberries/raspberries
40ml of soya milk
- Yellow Smoothie1 frozen banana
1 diced peach
1 diced mango
40 ml of soya milk
- Berries Smoothie1 frozen banana
1 handful of blueberries
1 handful of blackberries
1 handful of strawberries
40ml of coconut water
Blend it all together and voilà! If you’d like to add some veggies in here as well, some spinach will make it taste amazing.
Just remember, this recipe is only a guideline, you can add as much milk as you want – using the one you like the most, as long as it fills up half (or more) of the blender.
