#FashionFriday: Autumn Must-Haves ASOS Edition (Vol. 1)

Fashion month is over and all we have left is runaway photos and empty wallets (that is, if you’re rich enough to afford all the pretty clothes).

However, if you keep dreaming about fashion but can’t afford much (aka me), you can still follow the trends without spending a fortune.
I recommend going into your local Primark, NewLook, Topshop, River Island and have a look around. If you are familiar with the trends, you can always find a similar (and cheap) alternative.

Today I am coming to you with some of my personal favourites from my favourite website: ASOS. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I’m afraid you’ve been living under a rock. So, without further ado, here’s a list of some of the trends that stole my heart (and my money):

  1. Velvet

I am so in love with velvet it’s unreal! From boots to dressed, it’s pretty much all I want to wear. It’s quite versatile so you can pretty much wear it anywhere – uni, nights out, fancy dinner party. What I like the most about velvet is that it usually includes other trends (i.e. chelsea boots, bomber jackets, etc.), so you’re pretty much set with just one item.

ASOS Velvet Pearl Chocker Necklace // ASOS EAGLE Clear Heel Velvet Sock Boots // Only Quilted Velvet Bomber // One Day Petite Allover Velvet Mini Slip Dress // ASOS RACHELLE Velvet Heeled Ankle Boots // ASOS Wrap Front Belted Jumpsuit in Velvet

  2. Leopard Print

To me, this trend is very iconic and always reminds me of Alexa Chung. As much as I love it, though, I doubt I would wear it with something that is not black. Whatever you own in a leopard print, that’s gonna be a statement piece. It needs attention, not colour!

ASOS REACH Pointed Ankle Boots // Urbancode Faux Fur Leopard Print Coat With Faux Fur Collar // The Ragged Priest Leopard Cami Over T-Shirt Dress // First & I Leopard Faux Fur Coat // Pimkie Leopard Print Heeled Ankle Boot // New Look Leather Look Biker Jacket Leopard Print Collar
  3. Embroidered Pieces

Have you seen how pretty this trend is? Have you? Because I’m all for it! It just looks so cool and makes you look like you’ve tried even when you haven’t (trust me, I’ve tried it!)

ASOS REACH Pointed Jacquard Ankle Boots // River Island Embroidered Slouch Bag // River Island Denim Embroidered Skirt // ASOS Knitted Tee With Embroidered Flower Patch // Pimkie Floral Embroidered Bomber Jacket // New Look Floral Embroidered Sweat Jumper
